My buddy recommended the lacrosse alpha burlys but when I was buying, the Cabelas comfort trac 1200's were on sale so I got them. I've used them a few years and have had great luck with them. They are still in great shape.
I will tell you, I know someone that got the cheaper (I think RedHead) brand rubber boots and they tore out in one seaon...my 2 cents is from all the feedback here and the guys I know, LaCrosse, cabelas, or the Mucks you will probably have a good boot, just depends on what you like personally.
