HF 2196 proposed changes: Legal for landowner tenant child and spouses of theirs to use artificial light on their property as long as not apprehended taking game. Does not state they must be with out firearm and also states DNR cannot confiscate firearm. Other portion of proposal allows punishment by warning only of owner /tenant spouse/children of theirs, who hunts on neighbors land within 1250 foot(other sentence in proposal states a half mile) of the owners/tenants border without a license WHEN they did not take an animal or they took an animal they could have taken on their section of land(shooting over fence????). They must not have been previously been guilty of hunting on neighbors land or other land bordering theirs. REALLY! Who thinks of this crap. I doubt it really could pass. THOUGHTS ANYONE

That would definitely open up a lot of new hunting turf for some folksIf it's really a proposal, it stands no chance NWBuck
It's very real. It was meant to allow neighbors to party hunt together and use their landowner tags I think.
It's a mind boggling proposal to say the least.
