Honest locust and broadleaves in switchgrass and miscathus

I planted rc bigrock switchgrass last summer and miscanthus this last weekend and have some honey locust growing in there along with broadleaves.

What would you recommend i spray for herbicide and when and how much?

It's also along pond.

I'm along planning on planting beans along edge of switch and miscanthus

Look at crossbow... depending on your broadleaf problem

As for how much. That's a label research. Most likely 2-3 oz per gallon will do it.

Can you spray that on young switch or 1st switch? Does switch need to be at 4 leaf stage or can i spray now?
Would it hurt if I overspray or too concentrated?

BURN late spring

Surely some of the honey locusts will sucker, so that's where I'd spot spray with what the guys said above

Should also be able to cut locust and apply tordon to the cut stump. I wouldn’t overspray however.

There is a facebook site called Switchgrass For Habitat. Roger Sampson posts there a lot. He’s a true expert and there is a lot of good info there.

He usually argues against burning year 1. I used to be a believer in almost yearly late burns (Late April/may). I’m trying to get away from it tbh starting to see the advantage of spreading them out to 3 plus years but every situation is different.
