How many days should you hunt a stand per week?

This is my first year ever hunting and Im learning as I go. I have about 100 acres of timber next to several hundred acres of corn. I found a large rub about 3 weeks ago and hung a stand nearby. I went back this week and hunted Sunday, Mon, and Weds. There are about 20 rubbed trees within a hundred yards and several large scrapes. I have been in that stand for about 10 hours but have not seen one deer. Am I hunting too much? I am able to get in and out easily. On my other stand on the property I have seen a dozen or so small bucks and does. Any ideas on this stand? Thanks

Just a guess but could they be in the corn ?? I'd hunt the edge just to see what the movement of the deer was?

The bucks just simply aren't moving too much right now. It could simply mean they aren't hitting the area until dark, give it 3 weeks or when the corn is out, and I bet you start seeing more. I won't even hunt any of my good spots until after oct 25th, I dont want to educate them early, just because you don't see them doesn't mean you cant spook them by leaving scent in the area

Liv4rut is right about sub par buck movement right now and about being careful not to burn out a good spot early. I also believe the low level of deer movement right now has quite a bit to do with the heat wave we had though too. Going back and forth to work I was seeing deer, bucks and does, moving all last week during that cool snap, but I have seen only one since the warmer temperatures set in.

We hunted Sunday evening and didn't see much.
