Check out the Million Dollar Rain thread in this forum, there are several weather related websites referenced that you can follow right along with the storm and then some that you can look at for a post rain total too. I am watching the storm too...who knows, I may pick up a whopping .10 of an inch!!
Lone Ranger we got right at 1 inch at my place on the south side of the river from Eldon over night. It was wonderful and while I don't have any corn or beans, my tomato plants are loving it. All of my apple trees were so stressed that they were starting to drop apples so it might have saved them also.
Thanks,,I know where floris is. The maps do show totals diminish going east of Eldon however,,so who knows,? You have apples,,,? Mine all froze,,except maybe 5 or so. I feel for those who got little. I have been there believe me!
Just another update. Saturday evening from 4:15 till 5:30 I got just over 3 inches. I didn't get the wind damage that they did in and around Ottumwa but the wind did blow. Had the camper over at Rathbun and was worried but no damage there either. We had a great day on the lake on Sunday.
