How much water?

I have a new clover plot. Put in this Spring. Quite a bit of foxtail in it but alota clover too. I have been whipping the fox back. Now it is drying. I can get a hose to it to water. Should I ? And how much should I water it? I figure clover is tough. Maybe it just needs a good wetting down with my hose. ? New at this irrigation of food plots. Thanks

I believe 1” is around 25,000 gallons for 1 acre. Now- 1/10th an acre- 2,500 gallons- which actually is pretty doable. U might not need 1” equivalent either. .5” for example. Do it at night so it doesn’t just evaporate. Over lots of area- not practical. In small areas- I’d for sure give it a whirl if convenient.

A plot that size would be very doable. If you are able to put ur sprinkler or whatever ur using as high up as you can. It cover alot more area. Best of luck and let us know how it goes!
