How old is this buck?

I can't figure out how old this guy is. I've seen him the past two mornings and I am leaning towards pulling the trigger but I rather not shoot a younger deer. I know he wont score worth a darn but I don't care. If he is 4.5+ i'd love to sling an arrow but I want your opinions. I know they aren't the best pictures to go off of but they are the only ones I have on him. How old do you think this buck is?

I think he's pretty darn old. His face in the 2nd to last picture makes me think 6.5+

3.5, he lacks definition in his chest. Your going away picture is deceiving as he appears puffed up ready to fight.

Does he make you shake and get really nervous when he's walking in? The heart never lies, if you've let him walk twice, deep down you know the answer. Never settle for anything less than what you want. Don't shoot him just to shoot one if shooting mature deer is your goal.

personally I think he's a very good 3.5, looks like he was injured last year hence the size drop off on the right antler compared to the left. next year that might creep back up in size to match the left, or could grow some other junk on it and become a nice non typical.

I'm thinking 3. I do think the chest tells a lot. His head says he could be older but who knows. Some deer are just smaller in stature. If he makes ya happy punch a hole in his air bags.

I also say 3.5. he looks awful leggy and not soggy.

I would say 3.5, maybe even 2.5 but as always with age, I'm just guessing.
