How slim are the chances

you could use grass too, would blend right in. Your a tough little bugger, I still think you could roll them bales together...especially if you knew it would net you a hawg!

Good luck bud!

I would not be surprised that is because the fabric has ultraviolet dyes on it. Most stuff is made to sell not work. Anything out of China and what isn't is likely to have UV dye in the fabric.

Here is one I made out of a cattle panel and chicken wire.

That is a very nice looking blind there

I think this is a geat idea and am trying it for the 1st time this year with my DB as well, the only difference with my situation was that I am able to put it in a row of bales and slide a bale to the end.

Good luck Kaare, can't wait to see pics.

Sweet blind Caz! How many man-hours did it take to weave the hay into that sucker? Very nice finished product! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Skully,

I laid out the panel flat, laid the black plastic on it and secured it with wire. Then spread out the hay from another round bale and then laid chicken wire on top and wired it down on the ends. Then I folded the ends towards each other until I got the round shape and tied the ends together with about 5 feet of wire.
The flat sides are hay sandwitched between chicken wire with holes cut for shooting. It is staked to the ground with really big tent stakes.

Hope this explains it clear enough......Caz

Awesome! That's a lot simpler than trying to weave hay through the panel. Thanks for the pointers! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
