how'd you find Iowawhitetail????

Saw the booth at the Classic years ago and have been hanging around in the shadows ever since. It has really evolved into a top notch site.

THREE YEARS AGO I ATTENDED MY FIRST IOWA DEER CLASSIC.
WHEN I RETURNED I WAS MESSING AROUND ON THE COMPUTER
ON YAHOO. TYPED IN "IOWA WHITETAIL" AND THIS WAS ONE OF
THE MATCHES. BEEN HERE EVER SINCE. JUST LURKED FOR AWHLE
BEFORE I JOINED. HAVE GOTTEN MORE GREAT ADVICE HERE AS
ANYWHERE. EVERYONE HERE IS TO BE COMMENDED FOR THEIR
INVOLVEMENT IN THE BEST HUNTING SITE THERE IS!!

what i found was even better iowawhitetail, actually i was looking for pics of the swehla buck and they said they had them on here so that is where i fell in love!! and im almost as addicted to this site as much as i love hunting, almost. goodluck this year guys!!
 
I was browsing the web and typed in "Iowa Whitetail Deer" as my search phrase and located this site. I did like a lot of others have and hung out in the shadows for about a year and then registered originally using "Blackwater" as my screen name. After a couple of months I thought I needed a snappier handle so I re-registered as "Rackaddict" and have been a thorn in your side ever since.

I did a web search several months ago and typed in "kansas shed hunting" and found this site...

I have to tell everyone how much I enjoy this site....

Used to rip on alaskanwhtail for spending all his free time on here, til I began reading posts and checking out all the fabulous pic.s, then I became a junkie. No need to stop now........Great site fellas!
 
I was searching for info on midwest whitetails and found this site. It was worth the search, great site guys!

A bunch of us were making our own trail cams on another site and someone saw a post here by a clown named Scooby. Scooby had taken our recently published plans from our site and built his cams and then showed up here and proclaimed he was a genious. We punked him and he denied it at first and then disappeared. Rut Roo Shaggy.

Great site by the way. I grew up near Muscatine along Ole Man River and it's good to read what's happening in that part of the country where I have family still.
 
Used to visit another site quite often but got tired of all the NR bashing. Someone suggested this site. Haven't found any of that NR bashing here. Just lots of helpful info when I post up. Still visit that "other" site but mainly for home state info. Every now and then I drop into the IA forum......things haven't changed.
 
I remember doing a search for "Iowa" and "whitetails" several years ago....and this is the sight that came up. I read posts and was on the site forever before I finally joined up. Now I check this site whenever I am at a computer.......
 
i was on monster mules and they posted the thread that this sight was preety good. I didnt pay any attention to it. Then when they heard about the moster Whitetail that was taken so i got on hear. Come hear most of the time

Saw a dark colored (I'm colorblind) SUV in Iowa City with a IowaWhitetail.com sticker in the back window. Anybody claim this vehicle?
 
I was looking to see if there were outfitters in iowa because Id never heard of any and stumbled onto this sight. I was an addict instantly.
 
The vehicle seemed to be operated in a civilized manner.

The vehicle was on Magowan Street, headed for Rocky Shore/Park Road. Guess it left an impression. I figured if the driver had an interest in deer, they couldn't be all bad

I did an internet search on shed hunting a couple years ago, found this site. I visit a couple others but this one 99% of the time, I love it. I really like the fact that nobody cares that I'm from way up north and treat me the same as they do everyone else. It means alot that everyone here is not narrow minded and only willing to discuss what happens in their home state, i think it's great that there are so many memebers from all over. I mean we're all here for the same reason, big whitetails, who cares where everybody is from?? I've learned alot from this site, from different hunting techniques used in different areas to seeing what different walks of life people can come from yet still have the same addiction as all the others on here.
