Hoyt Katera

crackers

New Member
70 lbs 29" Katera started at 72 lbs out of the box and shot a 350 gr arrow at 320 fps. It is now 70.5 lbs and shoots the same 350 gr arrow at 328 fps. Took forever to get this customer off those black/brown strings he had me put on his last 10 bows but we now have Bronze/Black

How much for the Katera. I REALLY want another Hoyt, but I still think I am going to save some money and go with the Fred Bear Game Over, if it shoots good. But WOW, WOW, WOW....That bow looks sweet!!!

Besides being faster, what are the differences? </div></div>

Lighter and a smoother cam

Just a guess but I'm sure his new string and a cam tweaking would do the trick. Possible a sprinkle of magic Crackers dust for good measure.

Are those a new, smaller alpha shox? Nice looking bow and the weight loss was much needed. What's the brace height?

I'm sure that his string has alot to do with it. It looks like the bottom supressor is a string leeche, but it looks like an alpha shox on top?
