Hunter orange/ground blinds

I'm looking for tips on the easiest and fastest way to make a ground blind hunter orange compliant (Iowa gun seasons)? Specifically a DB matrix. Who's done what?
TIA

Ameristep makes blaze orange "caps" for blinds (both square and cone shaped blinds). Don't know if these will fit a DB or not but it looks pretty wasy to use. Cabela's has them listed in their Ground Blinds category. I would post a link but I appear to be "technically challenged".

Whoa! Lil' too permanent there!

I looked at Cabela's and the reviews have me confused. It sounded like the $19.99 version was black/orange camo. I'll have to swing by Scheel's to see if they have a similar product. I've always been a "see it before I buy it" type of person.

The orange caps is the route I was going to go, but then I thought the regs said it must be a 10x10 inch square or something like that on each side. So if you have it on the roof that angles down, would that be considered each side? That is what I always wondered. The place I hunt, if I get it wrong I am kicked out, if caught.

My latest project is putting magnet strips around my window edges so I can secure them well for high winds as well as keep the cold drafts from coming in. This is working really well so far. What I am going to do is put some on the outside so that way I could easily secure the proper amount of orange to each side with a magnet. Then I can just carry them in my pack and slap them on / off. I have been using the mighty mend it gem it glue and it is holding the magnets on great!!

From the regs: No person shall use a blind for
hunting deer during the regular shotgun deer seasons
unless such blind exhibits a solid blaze orange marking
visible in all directions with a minimum height of
12 inches and a minimum width of 12 inches.

Tough to figure out if the sloping roof of a blind would be 12 inches in height. At least the orange caps from Cabelas would be "visible in all directions".

All the permanent blinds in this area do have the slow moving signs attached to theirs, but they are all big wooden box blinds, not really ideal. I know last year at either scheels, or Fleet farm they had specifically made adhesive stickers that were 12x12 squares for blinds that you could just stick on your blind. They were like a buck a piece.

IMO that reg is a pain and idiotic!
Ok, to add to the question, can you have the orange on the blind ONLY WHEN YOU HUNT????
I ask this because I do what was suggested above- I just bring a couple super light and cheap orange vests with me and hang them outside of it ONLY when I am hunting it.

I guess I can understand the reg though, I was after a 180" buck a couple years ago that I knew really well that I had passed dozen of bucks to hopefully get crack at him, I came to a field edge and saw what I thought was the 17 pointer- over 250 lbs and at least 6&1/2 years old based on the snout size- I wanted to make sure it was the right deer so I glassed "him" for 10 minutes. As I was about to squeeze the trigger I realized "he" actually wasn't a deer at all but rather a double bull blind! Geesh, I could hardly tell the difference!!! :)
(Kidding of course and ok, ok, I know making blinds more visible for stray bullets and fast shooting is wise but come on, legislatures think hunters are the stupidest people on earth)
