hunter's review

I have the Buck Board by Primos (going out of business sale) and I have to agree with the reviews on the grunt portion. The rattling part of it can be pretty effective as I've brought in several bucks up a hill that I couldn't have used my antlers for. It's smaller and easier to hide the movement. Too bad I can't tell you I shot a monster after rattling him up the hill though.

Shredder, you could probably patent it and make a few bucks... else in the future somebody else will.

I know my dad thought of an umbrella for a deer stand, but also though how rediculous it would be. Sure enough a few years later look what is on the market.

I remember reading something, somewhere, a while back about a guy that wanted to try something called a clineometer. Well I had no idea what the hell a clinometer was so I did some readin bout' it. It turns out they are a very handy tool for what ever they're suppose to be used for but take my word for it..........they don't work worth a crap for deer huntin'. Leesen ya practice throwin it at somethin for a while then maybe you can toss it at a deer an knock him out or sumthin'.

I've got one to add to the list. Another gimmic from MADD calls. The spit-n-drum. Can't believe I bought it! They come out with about one gimmic per year. One was the dog whistle that was mentioned earlier. They tried to hype the "high frequency" calls a couple of years ago but they didn't become the revolution in the calling industry like they were advertised.

(big sigh). Moose, Moose, Moose. Cant leave well enough alone can you. I will have you know that I have perfected my throw with that clinometer and actually it makes a pretty good boomerang.

i tried a pendulum sight from savage, and i threw it in the bottom of my junk draw, it worked fine out to 25 yards and when i had a boone and crockett 10 pointer on the last day of the season at 40 yards, and pulled back twice and the sight just wasnt right. when i let him walk, i wanted to throw that bow out the tree, then a coyote walked right underneath me, i was mad, so i pulled back put it on him and shot and it shot high, what a piece of %&^^$ so thats my story!!!
