Hearing reports that I-80 from Omaha to Des Moines is being closed and that I-380 is being considered as well. Keep it safe out there.

Yeah, breaker one-nine, this here's the Rubber Duck,
you got a copy on me Pigpen? C'mon.
Ah yeah, ten-four Pigpen, for sure, for sure.
By golly it's clean clear to Flagtown. C'mon.
Yeah, that's a big ten-four there Pigpen. Yeah, we definitely got the
front door good buddy. Mercy sakes alive, looks like we got us a convoy

I'd drive through a friggen fields for 24 hours before I miss the classic! We're leaving in a few minutes, so we'll beat most of the bad stuff.

Drive safe everyone! Keep the rubber-side down!

I live right off of I-80 in Western Iowa and it's bad out here. Our town is basically shut down. All the traffic off the interstate is filling up every empty parking lot they can get in to. Our Community Center is open for people to get out from the weather. Our plant closed at 10:00 today. Wondering if we'll even be able to get to work tomorrow morning? Here's a couple of views from my house. We got quite a bit of rain before the snow started so it's really slushy underneath and the snow is heavy

. Be careful out there!

Just saw they closed 380 for sure from Iowa city to Waterloo, suppose to get real nasty in the next few hours I hear, looks like an early work day for me.

Not snowing too hard here in central Iowa..yet. Say anywhere from 2 - 7" around here now. Very light snow east of Des Moines.

It's real bad up around Mason City right now, and north of here. It took me over an hour to drive 20 miles

First we got hammered by rain, then freezing rain, and now snow

Also the wind is so bad it literally blows you sideways when you are driving on massive sheets of ice, I found that out a couple of times today

ISU closed classes at 1PM. I only remember a couple of times that's happened in the last 25 years.

Sled dogs it is,
we are snowed in at Ft Dodge, and we wont have our booth set up till tomorrow eveing
we tried to make it down there today, but this is probalbly the worst driving conditions i have ever seen in iowa
