This is an old deer. Ive seen him for about three years and just finally had got to where he was a shooter this summer when I saw him eating during one of my scouting adventures. I was excited because this deer and I have a history and I have passed on him numerous times over the years. Hes not the biggest in the world i know where bigger ones are but he means somethin to me i guess you could say. THis year i thought would be the year until i got my first pics of him and to my surprise he has broken off part of his main beam since i had seen him last guess im gunna have to wait another year...

I have no idea what happend all i know is that when i seen him at the end of july he was all their im still tryin to figure out how it happend my self

I like the chocolate color.

He's massive all-right and I'm guess he's spreading his genetics all-over too. Kind of narrow, but the color and mass are sweet.

you could always take him out anyway, and get the missing portion reconstructed. It looks like a velvet injury to me, not a break...it's too clean.

Wow, he is thick and I agree, love the dark color. The break has some character though I think. It almost has to be a break if he was all there in July.

Compact devil isn't he? I bet he will do his share of damage. YOu might want to arrow him ASAP so he doesn't ruin everyone else's rack! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
