Looking forward to ice here in southwest Iowa! Hoping this snow storm doesn't impact the production of the ice! I'm itching to get out!

We are lucky...at least here in central/southern Iowa that most of the water was open. This snow on top of thin ice would be bad news for making new ice.

Temps in the next 10 days being as low as forecasted I'd think we should be on the ice soon!
