ALright this is how it went. Saturday morn i went out to our local huntin land and i had a hell of a hunt. I saw two big bucks in the three hours out. One of them which was at 5 yards. No shots though. I couldnt afford to drive to our other spot (haha) so i went back to the same spot. I walked to my stand set my stuff down got ready to climb up and then realized i had nothing to climb. It was all gone. Earlier in the week a kid at my school who hunts somewhat close to our spot but on different property told me to stay off the land. I tryed to just sit there and hunt on the ground but i was too mad to stay. I went home and went to bed. The next morning i got some gas and drove to some public land and hunted. I came home went out and put up a new stand got 10 ft of chain and a paddle lock to lock it up. The whole time i was in the woods some kid kept driving by and yelling at me to stay out of the woods and to quit hunting and some very vulgar things. I was mad and i have a feeling sit wont be long before my other stadn is gone too. Yeah i cant believe it! IDIOTS!
 
if i were you i would put the stand up and go hide out there somewhere with my paint ball gun and shoot his a@@ when we tried to steal it.... or the smart thing would be call your dnr officer but the first way sounds funner.... just my opinion
 
agreed, that would be funny haha. Seriously though I would be really mad. Idiot couldn't describe him better.
 
If this is someone who is trying to interfere with your legal hunt you need to turn him in. It is illegal and he should be prosecuted.
 
If you know the guy, it sounds like a good ol fashion @ss whoopin would take care of it.
 
I would use the paint ball gun and shoot him in the baw-sac!! I have no time for theivery and in fact, it sounds like you know who the culprit is.......so pay that turd a visit and dont forget the paint ball gun. Yes, baw-sac very hard!!

Seriously man, turn him in! You cannot legally harass someone in the field like that.

I like the whoop his a## idea too...just wait for him in the woods, video tape him taking it, and then whoop him good!
 
Is this kid related to Ruby Custer? Another guy says she does the same thing. The driving up & down the road, yelling at ya & etc. She actualy told the guy she was gonna force his dad into a lease once.
 
sounds like you need to take the video camera to the stand with you. the next time they harrass you, take it to the law
 
Well it started off a lil slow at school took my a while to find the kid that i assumed was doing these acts and i tryed to confront him but he saw me walking and took off by the time i got close to him i figured i would just follow close behind he turned into the closest room before i could get to him so i think i found my culprit
 
What really sucks is that I have hunted this land for three years. and Now I am at college and MQ32, my younger brother is hunting it. The kid that we think is doing this is A old friend of mines little brother. they knew that we have been in their and it's never been a problem. I think the reaosn it has turned into this is a BIG buck that is running it.

The kid had to trespass to steal the stand. The owner of the land is now filled in and is pissed.

There is just no reason for any of this. He doesnt even own the other half of the property, he just hunts it.
 
Someone else that know's Ruby! We had a little problem with her a couple years ago tresspassing on land we had to hunt. She's famous for putting out hair nets with hair in them along her leased hunting land. Needless to say she only bothered us once, I won't go into how the matter was taken care of.

WEll i go out hunting wednesdayu morn the weather sucks i am cold and i give up at about 8:30 dont see a thing i get in my vehicle i drive home. on the way home i see the kid who i think stole my stand i dont think anything of it i get to town and decide to go check it out i get back and the kid is sitting in his vehicle parked where i usually park i didnt think he was in his vehicle i pull up behind him and as soon as i put it in park he takes off. I dont know how i cant get him to quite. Any suggestions?

I cost $100 an hour and it'll only take me about 15 min to take care of the job and hide the body. So... if you have an extra $25 I'll fix the problem for ya

Just call them the guy is a jerk. Let the DNR Talk to him. Anything else may only get you in trouble.
 
CALL THE WARDEN-you may not ever get your stands back--but the culprit may have a few years of not hunting to think about his stupidity! I'd also quit screwin around tryin to deal with it yourself-inevidably it will come back to haunt you.
Also a video tape is pretty effective evidence.
If all else fails roofing nails sure slow things down.
