If you couldn't...

Illinois, right on other side of Mississippi, because it is right beside Iowa

But if it was to be farther away,I would say Colorado just for the variety of hunting you could do.

Well since I lived there for almost a year of my life and since I loved the scenery and the 140 degree weather, I would have to say Kuwait. With all the sand and vast area of nothing, also their abundance of whitetail's and waterfowl is what would attract me the most. (for those of you that think I'm serious.

I was thinking Kansas, believe it or not. Cost of living, hunting opportunities, warmer climate for the Mrs. I keep telling her we'll move south, southern Iowa!

This could be a compromize.

i mentioned moving to alaska once to my wife. she said i could move there anytime i want but she was staying here. so if it can't be alaska, i don't want to live anywhere but iowa........

I would have to say I'm pretty happy here in Tennessee but if I chose to live somewhere else it would probably be between Montana and Colorado.

I think I would move to San Fransisco just to see if I could stay alive. That would be a bigger chalange than I ever have tryed. i love noise/cement/and flashing lights. Can any one let me know how long I would make it?

Hogie, you don't want to move to SanFransisco just to get married do ya?
Just kidding,
I would choose either Australia or Alaska. That would be epic.

Planning a major move in the summer of '06. Were initially planning on the midwest but the more we travel and the more hunts I go on in the west it's looking more like an Idaho/Montana/Wyoming move.

Big Sky Baby. Montana here we come...or I come, I don't think my wife will go for it.

I've lived in both Iowa and Kansas.

Iowa ranks # 1 with Kansas a close 2nd.

After that its a toss up between Montana and Idaho. The problem would be getting the wife to move. I'd probably be on my own.

South Dakota!!

Great big game hunting, pheasant hunting ALMOST as good as Iowa (

), possibly the best waterfowl hunting in the country and great fishing opportunities to boot! Plus they wouldn't be able to gouge my eyes out for that NR license each year

A close second would be northern MN or Canada. Only reason this is second is because no pheasant opportunities. But the mighty black bear, nearly unlimited fishing options and absolutely beautiful landscape put it right in there for the top spot in my book!

I wouldn't want to live anywhere other than where i do. 1 million people total for our gigantic land mass, if you dislike crowds you'll love Saskatchewan. The hunting opportunities I don't need to mention but the fishing is unbelievable too, giant pike, over 30 pounds, big walleye, 15 lbs plus, and thousands of lakes, many untouched by humans. The landscape is great, from flat plains, to the towering Cypress Hills, badlands similar to Mexico and millions of acres of beautiful forested country. Wildlife abounds and people are few here. Did I mention we have the odd big whitetail too? And good home brewed beer!!!!

No two ways about it...New Mexico. Actually, to be more specific, Las Cruces area. Beautiful, warm weather with 4 distinguishable seasons. Culture, food, leisure only second to Iowa!
