If you couldn't...

When My brother (alaskanwhtail) And I moved up here in AK. last august from NY, we knew the hardest part was going to be missing whitetails. Although Ak. has multiple big game species to hunt we knew none would be as exciting as deer. As expected, we are both going through major shed hunting withdrawls, but because we have discovered this awesome site w/ great people our withdrawls have been kept at bay (somewhat). After spending lots of time between the two of us on this site we often question if we want to return to the empire state, mostly due to the major lack of trophy class bucks. We knew before we discovered iowawhitetail that the midwest was by far a better place to hunt trophies, but this site has really opened our eyes to what we have been missing out on. Anyways Iowa would be my first choice and Sask. would be my second.

My husband asked if I would ever want to move to Washington state as he could be tranfered there if he wanted. I said that as far as I know, they have one of the smallest deer herds in the lower 48...that would be a NO...

Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho, Montana...I could be ok with that, but I'd have to come back to Iowa as one of those d*$# non-residents; I'd miss it too much!

Campbell County Wyoming, Lived there in Sundance for 10 years. Great whitetail, mule deer, elk, antelope, and turkey hunting. Really big whitetails, and very little hunting pressure on them.
