I've used a cheapo quiver for years and I was getting tired of my arrows going well past the bottom limb of my bow. Because my quiver was so short and it mounts mid bow, my fletching stuck out just enough to hit and tangle on stuff and drive me nuts. I started pricing new quivers and I didn't like how heavy most of them were. The couple I liked were expensive and I got to thinking, there isn't much to these things and if I fix this myself, then I can spend that money on gun parts.
So I started tinkering. I drilled some holes, cut up some old arrows, glued some stuff and walla, I still have a cheapo quiver that only partially sucks now and I extended it . It works, the wife is happy and now I have a new geissele trigger! . Ignore the zip tie, that's just how I mount my cheapo quiver. Keep it simple right?
