.....for Mr. Big Turnip 2011. Planted my half acre today. Same plot that has been in clover for about 4-5 years. Glyphosate about three weeks ago, tilled it two weeks ago, spread 200 pounds of urea today, then tilled it again, packed, sowed 15 pounds of GHR/PT/DER, packed it again now I’m hopin for rain.

Ya can't win if ya don't plant.

15 pounds on a half acre???
We planted the same mix yesterday, but only about 5 pounds on a plot just shy of an acre. We can never seem to get the rate right. We usually get them planted so dense it looks more like hair than a food plot, so decided to go light this year.

Plan on broadcasting some PT turnips into my 1 acre standing corn plot this coming weekend hope it works never tried it!

Planted July 20th, 16lbs/2 acres of PT, DER, and FR. We have actually had rain here in WI.... I'm even gonna pump another 100lbs of urea onto my turnips... I want the trophy!

I hooked every piece of hose I had together last night to water my plot. Went back inside to mix up the miracle grow. Now I have to ask myself "Did I drink the miracle grow and spray the mescal or spray the miracle grow and drink the mescal? Either way I grew a unibrow last night.
