Is this something new the state is trying? I have'nt heard if this before, it seems like it will be a good thing from the info i got in the mail on it today.I'm going to go ahead and sign up with them.

I think you two might be talking about two different surveys; one is just a post card that they send out to a high number of people to ask them weather or not they filled the tag. But The Bow hunter Survey is a lot more in depth and they ask you to basically make a journal every time you go bow hunting to keep track of all the wildlife you see on the trip. If you already knew that, then I apologize. But I just got the card aksing me if I wanted to and I will not be able to do it. I am going off to school this fall so I doubt I will be able to spend the time to Bow Hunt.

Just a note, I have hunted more while in school than I ever have before or will later in life (unless it becomes a full time job). Guess that is why this is year #10
