Heres one of my new additions. Picked up two new head yesterday from my taxidermist. This deer is the "lamont Stark" buck from Iowa, scoring 189 typical net (I believe)

Looks like he has a little moose in by the looks of those paddles.

Whats the story about this buck?

That Buck was shot in southeast Iowa somewhere around 1984 or 1985. I went to high school with Monty (Lamont) and the deer was shot either our Junior or senior year. Still an awesome buck to see Again.

As far as I know, no other buck in his area has been killed with similar features to this one. I like that kind of genetics....

Those aren't common bases?

I don't see any common bases in that pic.

the g2 and g3 on each side angle out of the same area in my opinion

Re: Iowa buck-new addition to Wild Whitetails disp

No common base points. Because the palmation is on both sides and is even, then all the points were considered typical and measured to the top of the palmation (beam). In other words, he has short points but the mass measurments make up for it.

Very cool lookin deer and looks even better in person.
