Iowa City area lockers

As I sit here looking at the quarters of my 2005 buck I think about how nice it would be to get some hot garlic sticks and maybe some summer sausage. Anyone in the Iowa City area able to recommend a locker near here?

It's a longer haul than you're looking to make, but Dayton's in Malcom (about 45 minutes west of you) is the Rube's of deer processing.

Those are the really dried out chunks of meat that look like dog turds aren't they?

I second the vote for Ruzickas. I get their smoked brats and summer sausage with cheddar cheese. I also think the pepperoni sticks are pretty good.
The only fault I find is that I understand they batch the meat.
I've had some stuff from the Keota locker and I didn't care for it too much, although they have great beef.
The Brighton locker makes good summer sausage as well, but that's a little farther than I'd like to go.

I have had good luck with Ruzickas also. They make some great tasting products. Personally I had a good experience with Buds too, but I had most of that deer made into Jerky, it was mighty tasty.

Went with Ruzicka's. They promised that I'll get my own deer back within 1-2 weeks. Can't wait.
