Iowa vs. Iowa State

This game is always tough to watch for me. For as much as Iowa should dominate the clones this game is almost always closer then it should be. I say 28-14. Player of the game will be some no name skinny special teams guy that blocks 2 punts!:way: Good luck this hunting season fellas. I will be getting my hunting fix in through you guys so keep the posts coming.

this guy hits it on the head I think. As a die hard ISU fan nothing I would like more than to see them win and in their first game they looked very capable of it
 
For once I hope that Iowa wins. Now that I live in Iowa City I wouldn't be able to sleep at night with all the crying and moaning going on if ISU wins......

Just an FYI, the guy that made that post is a former Iowa football player that is now in the NFL. :D He used to block a punt every now and then himself.

I agree though, many times the Iowa-ISU battle is a tough go, regardless of where the teams end up at the end of the year.

I'd love to see ISU win but after watching the D last week in Ames, I think the recievers from Iowa are going to have a hayday.....
 
I wont count my chickens before they hatch but since you ask I say Iowa 35 to 3
Looked pretty good out of the shoot on Saturday. No penalties and very few mistakes. The only flag thrown on them was declined. Iowa state was up and down at best on Thursday night. Defense could definately use some work. I predict Clayborn will be in Arnouds face all 60 minutes. Should be a good game. GO HAWKS
 
I'm a diehard Clones fan and proud of it. The always hopeful Clones fan in me sees the chance for my Clones to pull it off. They did it fairly regularly back in the peak of the McCarney era and I was there for the November 1992 24-17 victory over the #5 Cornhuskers, so I have hope! The pragmatist in me won't be at all surprised if Iowa wins, though. Some days, I really hate being pragmatic! Either way, I'll still love my Clones!!

GO HAWKS!! I'm not going to try to predict a score, but I'm sure the Hawks will walk away with a victory.

Be careful doing that in IC this year. Really cracking down on the public intox and open container law. Hawkeyes 28, Clowns 10. I think they will try double up on AC, that will just open up the door for Binns, Klug and Ballard.

Keep it on the grass and if you must cross the street make sure your can is closed. The cop probably took Sunday off to rest with writers cramp. The fine is $127 open container. I might know a few who received those letters of reccomendations.

27-13 Iowa. 13-7 Iowa at half and the Line play by Iowa shuts out Iowa State in 2nd half and the game is put away. Chalk up another Dubya...

Season Predictions
9-3 Iowa Lose at Arizona, Wisconsin or Mich State and Michigan.
5-7 ISU
