Man I love all the activity but geesh. I hunted all day cept for an hour from. Seen a few in the morning up until 7:30 when I watched a small buck chase a doe a couple hundred yards away. Couldn't call anything in with rattling or grunting etc. Got back out with my climber in a hot corner. Well here comes the rain, no biggy just a little drizzle, about 45 minutes from the time I normally see deer there. Okay now it's sstarting to come down pretty good, thunder and lightning is quite a was away. Okay tired of being wet lets leave, no wait is that a buck over there, no just my buck fever it can't be I swere that's rack I see with the naked eye at 200 yds, crap it turned it's head it is a buck. Better not get down then. I watched him for 15 minutes standing at the field edge scanning the field. Well he gave up and tucked into the woods. Okay lets leave, climb down with the climber, and get ready to stash it. Oh crap now the deer decide to come over the hill top. Low crawl over to my bow, watched it cross 40 yds away, low light with the storm didn't feel comfortable with the shot. Okay there 5 more deer, they usually head this way, nope the buck caught em and chased em off. Okay lets leave, nope here come 4 more over the hill. Looks like these deer might turn my way, watch em browse for 10 minutes. Two of em turn my way. Okay here we go, get drawn two more steps and she's in a clear lane at 10 yds. Nope stupied basket rack, that I thought was a doe chased her off, guess he didn't want her coming across the fence, little did he know she wasn't going to make it to the fence, lol. Man either they are chasing them around out of range or they are chasing them of before I can get a shot. I suppose it is a good frustration though.
