Is this site getting slow, or is it just me? It's hard to tell, some of the other sites i regularly visit are a little slow too.

My ISP sucks.
 
Do you mean slow as in "overall internet speed" or slow as in "not much to talk about in the middle of july because shed hunting is waaaay over and bow season doesn't open til Oct. 1st???"

To answer the 1st Q, I'd say yah, I do believe it has gotten slower in the past year because of new advertisements and such. This however has already been discussed. And to answer the second Q, I'd say yah, there isn't much to talk about this time of year. Sure food plots are doing good and there are some good pics of some good bucks but truth-be-told a food plot is a food plot, it's either doing good or doing poopy and people are only gonna share the pics they WANT you to see.

So either way my answer is "Yes" it is getting slow this time of year. SO! I will make it interesting. Being in the "not so f-ing sober" state of mind that I am, I will predict RIGHT NOW that the Solon Spartans will repeat as the Class 2A state football champions. If you think otherwise let me know...
 
Sorry for the confusion. I mean slow internet speeds. It has to be my ISP. Everything is slowing down for me. I recently reformatted my computer and everything is running good otherwise.

My ISP is just junk. Cable internet, but half the time I wait 5-10 seconds for sites to come up.
 
Yup, slower that grama with a broken hip, on both speed and posts.

I haven't been on in sometime, busy being a relatively new father (have a 9 1/2 month old daughter :)) and with grad school... I have to make this comment--> the sheer number of ads on this site is downright disturbing... I understand the desire to make a buck (pun intended?) but it's borderline shameful /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

What you dont see is it costs money to run/maintain this site!
