Gotta give them credit, they out played Iowa all around. I do have to admit it was one of the worst football games I have ever watched, freakin 2 yard dump pass, 2 yd dump pass, 3 yrd run, punt, repeat on both sides of the ball. I thought both teams looked poor at times and both looked like they were going to walk away with it.

Clowns got there usual 1 tough win, now they will finish with 2 more.
 
Ugliest thing I've ever seen...I'm not a die hard Iowa fan, but the Cyclones get up for one game...and that's it...got their win and maybe 1 more...

How disappointing for both schools!

But that's why there's a rivalry!

no matter how many times poor little ISU beats the "mighty" hawkeyes, there is one thing, the iowa city faithfull will never learn

Now how much fun would that be, we got beat fair and square by a bad bad football team that decides to show up once a year and IA continues to not show up for that game for some reason, nothing much else to say about it. Good win, I hope you get a couple more but I doubt it.

Teeroy, you have a valid point. There was a fair amount of trash talking this year with the spread at 17 1/2. BUT....I've never heard so many cyclone fans in my life say they didn't have a chance in yesterday's game before it started. It's pretty bad when your own fans don't even believe you can win and then once you do, look out

This is the one and only game I really get pumped about cause after it I'm focused on the hunt. I usually use a whole years worth of trash talkin' on one game

. State won it fair and square - Culbertson finally decided to come alive and when he did he made it count.
 
i was one of those that thought this year was a lost cause. with the way ISU started the year, it didn't look good. and a new coach, with no experience with the cy-hawk rivalry and all that it entails, wasn't boosting my hopes. i think it was in a text from willie, that said it best, neither team deserved to win that game. iowa wasn't there for the first half, and ISU only made one drive in the second.

culbertson's best game ever..........and he still managed to get a wiff in..
 
Now that this game is over with.....you all know where the best place to be is if we get any more tornadoes during this football season.

Jack Trice Stadium, there won't be anymore touchdowns there this year.
 
I love how these Hawkeye fans get beat and still manage to talk trash. The Cyclones aren't a great team this year, we'll deal with it. Maybe the Hawk fans should watch that game tape and realize that they are not that great either and save the trash for another year.

Amen to that Kelcher. There's no doubt Chizik and his staff are going to win some games down the road, especially when they get their own players. Even without a touchdown, I thought the game plan Saturday was brilliant.

What's Ferentz' excuse? Oh yeah,the Cyclones put too much emphasis on this one game. Gimme a break!

stay with me here...the UNI panthers beat iowa state...who beat iowa...so basically UNI panthers would be the best team in the state on paper...therefore....THE PANTHERS ARE LAUGHING NOW HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....not much you can say to that.
 
at the tailgate there was a naked college girl passed out from drinking. an isu student went up to her and put his hat over her right boob. a panther fan thought that was a good idea and decided to help out too so he put his hat over her left boob. a hawkeye fan came up and decided to put his hat over her.. well you know.

so a little later a cop walks by and sees the girl. he peaks under the hawkeye cap and looks puzzled by what he saw underneath. as to make sure his eyes didnt deceive him he peaks under it again and says "never seen that before, usually there is an a**hole under a hawkeye cap."
