i just reformatted my computer and lost my favorites, can anyone give me the link to the iowa state geographical site - it's the one that has topos and aerial photos. thanks!
 
I use this all the time.
They have new photos from 2006 posted now and you can get very large detailed pictures if you play around with the settings.
It's nice to have pictures both close-up and backed out a ways to help imagine travel patterns, etc.
 
Wow that is way better than the terraserver site I have been using forever. Thanks for putting up that link.
 
Does anyone know why I cant print out the photos from that site anymore? I used to be able to, but for the last year or so the pic comes out blank other than showing roads. Is it a copywrite thing or am I doing something wrong?

Go to the download map link and you can choose size and formats- there is a note section at the bottom.

I've used that site for the last few years also, zoom in, print, move, print. It takes a while but I have a 4X8 sheet of paneling that is a map of my hunting ground

Sure helps with managing multiple hunters on the same ground.
