Just used up the last of my deer roasts. Making about 26 lbs. of deer jerky today. Took a picture of my grill. I can load about 15 lbs. at a time and finish it in about 4-5 hours. Doing two batches today.
It's all open. I can use it as a grill or a smoker. My dad built the racks for the vertical portion and I can hold 15 drying racks that I got from Wal-Mart on it. There is about two inches between the racks so I get pretty good circulation. Will make some Summer Sausage next weekend.
I cooked 300 lbs. of pork loin in it two weeks ago for the Mark and Gary's Tractor Ride when it came through Iowa Falls. That was the most I had ever done and it took me all afternoon.
