I've never seen this before. And judging by the abrupt halt to deer coming back to the scrape - the deer didn't like it very well.

Giving it a sniff.

And then...

It will be fine. I've had bobcats rolling in a scrape before. The temp will drop and the bucks will be right on it like nothing happended.

I just had the same thing on cam. It was no big deal, there were deer on it right after.

It's one of those little black WildGame cams from Menards for $40, runs on 8 AAs. I have 2 of them & they are on the 2nd year & have been great.
