Yes it is finally here. Had the alarm set for 4 but woke up after a restless few hours and here I sit. I've been anxious had every thing worked out and go figure now I am second guessing my plan.
I finally got my Dad off his butt and got his paper work in for crossbow permit( he has a missing leg). He is going out with me this morning if he is here on time. He has shot a few deer back east and one or two during shotgun. He's holding off for a buck though, I've showed him to many nice bucks on the web and he's seen them on the road at night. He's not concerned about a harvest, I provide enough venison for him, lol.
Good luck to all that make it out today, If I can control the urge there will not be a harvest report from me this morning unless it's a wall hanger, the doe slaying will be this evenings hunt.
