Here is a photo of a deer I killed Dec. 14 02 ,he has 28 scoreable points and his green score was 241 3/8 gross nets 227 3/8

First off, Congrats on such a beautiful buck, and second, I was wondering where this deer was taken and what is the story behind this brute?!?!
 
i took my buck to the classic and had him officially scored. he grew an extra 6 inches.Dale Reame scored him at 237 7/8
 
JB. I have an issue with you!! I was moving along the wall, minding my own business, taking pictures of the great looking bucks on the wall at the classic. All of a sudden I see your buck on the wall.

It scared me so bad I dropped my camera and it broke into several pieces.

It was a hell of a nice camera to. Minolta 7000i, with a 35 to 100mm zoom lense. Now, here's my dilema. I figure you owe me another camera. I checked out Ebay and they are going for about $250.00 used. So if you would send me a check or money order we'll call it even.

the story on this buck started 2 yrs ago when the farm we hunted was leased. we were able to buy 80 acres in good area. we knew there was good bucks around because we saw them during the summer months. my son hunts and we both killed deer with bows but could'nt get ashot at amature buck. i hunted the first gun season but did't fill my tag. iwas hunting opening day of second season with my landowner tag . iwas walking along a brushy fencerow on the edge of a cornfield, the buck was bedded in the fencerow let me walk by then bested out in the field. i had a 52 yrd shot . he went about 40 yrds and went down. that completed my dream of takeing atrophy whitetail on my own land, ijust never dreamed it would be that big.
 
Is this the big buck i heard of that was also taken in the general area of the Ordnance plant? I know that Mr. Swehla shot his 237 inside the plant but was told there was onother one bout that size in that area.
