John Deere Buck

I don't know if any of you have heard about this, but a nice buck showed up by one of the buildings at one of the John Deere locations in Waterloo on Friday morning. He was really sick or hurt or something. I heard that he just walked up to these guys and let them hold onto his rack. Eventually a CF police officer shot it and animal control took it away. It was wierd, but it sure had a nice rack. From the looks of him he has been sick for awhile. Just thought you guys would appreciate the pics.

Looks like it is blind in the right eye.
Correct me if I am wrong but wont get a glare from the eye if that eye is blind.?

Also just look how skinny that buck is.

We all know there is an absolute whitetail nut that works at the Waterloo John Deere, its IowaBruce. He must have been gone on this day or I'd bet this deer would have ended up in his trunk!

I don't know any more than what I wrote above. I hope they run some tests on it. I wonder where that rack will end up. I was thinking that they should have had a full body mount done with it leaping over a log like the Deere logo and put it in the lobby or something.

Its a good buck, but has some thing very wrong with it

I shot one a few years ago that looked alot like that. He had a broken jaw from fighting during rut and couldn't eat. What a way to go...
