Just curious, how many of you keep a season journal? I'm starting this year. It's something I wish I would have started about 8 years ago, but for some reason it never occured to me. This year I picked up a little 8x5 notebook that I'll have with me in stand on every hunt. I'll record things like temp, wind direction, deer seen at what times, ect. I think it is something that I can look back on in a few year and really enjoy reading. Not to mention all the things it will teach me in the future. I think it would be really cool to pass it down to my son to enjoy someday.

Sounds cool. I've never kept one but now that I'm getting older and enjoy the hunt more than just killing something it would be a very usefull tool in the future and something to pass down to the little bowstrings. Good idea.

I tried it once. It died off after a couple weeks. It became more of a hassle than anything. One thing about it though you can keep a few blank pages at the end in case you forget the TP /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif I hope yours works out better than mine!!
