June planted forage radishes

Mid June I planted about 2 acres of ground hog forage radishes because I ran out of beans. They germinated late June and are now 4 to 5 inches tall and look good. My plan was to till them under and to dbltrees combo but will these still keep and be a good food source this fall and winter or should I till them in august? Thanks

I would wait to c what the weather is like. if it doesn t rain the radishes you have might be better than bare soil or an immature crop that gets frosted off b4 it puts on tubers!:drink2:

I think they will go to seed and not used.
