Say you have been hunting some land for several years and you have a history with two specific bucks. One is past prime and around 8 or 9 years old. The other is in his "breeder" phase and around 3 or 4 years old. You have ample trail camera pics of each deer, sheds off each deer, and the story with each one is just about even except for the number of years you've been pursuing them. One magical evening a 125-130 inch, 9 1/2 year old 10 point stops 25 yards on one side of you while at the same time the 4 1/2 year old stud who is an easy 170+ inches steps out on the other side of you at 25 yards. Conditions are perfect as the old warrior stares down the young up and comer...
You can get a shot off at either buck with no problems, they're focused on each other, would you shoot the giant "youngun" or the pop can based "old boy"
Which would you shoot? Why?
