Just an oddball.

This evening, I snuck into some nasty cover along a river and hid in a log jam.
This buck came out of a jungle of high weeds and was feeding on (whatever it was?) For quite awhile at 25 yards. I thought it was a half racked buck. No intentions of shooting.

Once he got to about 15 yards, I noticed something along side his face. He had the " neat factor" and decided to take him.
High double lung shot at 15 yards, 70 yard run which ended up in a head over heals cartwheel.
The skull is actually broken where the club is. It's floppy.
Guessing he's a 4 year old.

Haven't sat in a tree since I shot this buck. Got a doe tag burning a hole in my wallet. It's 44* out with 40mph winds. Gonna go sit this afternoon to try n fill it.

Seen about 18 deer.
Had 6 bucks and 2 fawns walk by within 15 yards. No shots at does. Figgers. Lol.
Had a couple 45+ wind gusts come through. Deer didn't care one bit.
I'll take wind over calm anyway.
