Just Curious!

Out of curiosity, how often do you check your trail cameras? I understand you don't want to check them too often, or you can "taint" your hunting area. Just curious, that's all.

4-8 weeks.....depends on how far of a drive they are. On the 8 week ones I use good batteries and a large GB SD card.

I check mine on a weekly basis & as you can see from my pics I still have alot of returning customer's.I can't wait two weeks my mind won't let me.LOL!

I check mind every seven days but then once every two weeks during hunting season or whenever I go in the woods .

once a week or so.. Bears will move the camera up here and if i left it for 3 weeks or so i would be getting sky pictures

Yeah it does vary. When taking inventory over feed, june-aug. and late jan. - march I may check them daily, but usually every 2nd or 3rd day, otherwise no matter how much feed I put out, it will be gone and the lens will be covered with muddy coon footprints and deer slobber.

Over just mineral, once a week. During season over scrapes and rubs also once a week or if its in deep, whenever I happen to be hunting in the area. Most places I run cameras are far away from daytime bedding areas, so I always do it mid day, and dont worry about checking too often.

Same here :way:

All of our sd card cameras I check once a week, there located along hayfields, mineral licks, not to far in the timber. All the buckeye cams everynight after supper:) there placed in or close to bedding or in our small foodplots located deep in the timber.

I run mine every Saturday morning. But I have them in spots I can just drive right to. Once season gets here I will only run the cameras if Im hunting close by. I get pics of deer withing 15mins of me leaving all the time. Truck dont seem to scare them as bad as a person walking in.
