Killing grass around miscathus

My miscathus is getting lost in grass that's growing. What can I spray to kill competing grasses but keep my miscathus alive?

Following...I just walked into our cabin after some spraying and was wondering the same thing.

If its foxtail you can spray quinclorac.

If it's cool season grasses you have to wait until the fall when miscanthus is Dormant and spray gly.

Probably is foxtail. The other option is to hit it with a backpack sprayer with gly & make sure it doesn’t get onto miscantheus. If that’s not an option (would get most of it) …. Beyond quinclorac + MSO…. Mixed results with simazine or atrazine with crop oil.
If mine- I’d spray gly & avoid plants. Plus id do quinclorac + mso into the whole mess in seperate spray. Or try one or the other & see how it goes.
3rd would be atrazine with oil. I’d only be concerned with stuff about a foot or 2 from the plants… past that - no biggy.

Thanks @Sligh1
Might be tough to spray foxtail without hitting miscathus with roundup since the miscathus is kind of lost in the grass. Simazine can kill already growing foxtail or set it back? Never knew

I’ve had so many roundup “oopsies” around fruit trees and shrubs that I wouldn’t trust myself on that option.
