I like the trigger better on the Extreme. Just my opinion. The Disk Elite would be a great choice too if you can find one and I too would consider the Savage MLII or the TC Omega.
Knight Disc Extreme. Hands down. Part of the allure of hunting with a smoke pole, is the smoke!
It cleans up with water, and you only need run one patch in between shots. The extreme is 100% weather proof, which no other gun can claim. Damn accurate, shooting 100 gr of T7, T/C shockwave sabots, can get sub inch grps.
Blake has also come up with a simple solution to keep the breech water tight, even when the gun is uncapped.
I gotta say its a tack driver. I took 3 does with it late season and they all dropped instantly using the hornady Xtps. I love it. It really easy to disassemble. However cleaning the trigger assembly can be pretty tough as there are a lot of little spaces even for a q-tip. Overall i'm very happy with the gun it is a tack driver with sub 1" groups at 100 yards.
