Labor Day Weekend

Going to a bike show Sat. (I plan on winning). Got a ton of money invested in that toy.
Sunday will be planting food plots dawn til dusk. Finish with some fishing on the pond. Have to work Monday but don't mind the double time.Hope everyone has a good time.
 
i plan on watching the hawks win, a few cold ones, also planned on catching some smallies on the turkey and recording some music tracks with the band, but I like the post about tree rat hunting, that sounds like fun too!
 
Tomorrow, gonna finish mowing the (unused) pasture so I can spray it with glyphosate in two weeks. Watch for pictures and the real and belivable story in the PMA. I broke both the mower and the tractor tonight. Nuhtin like fixin shear pins in the dark. Any bets on what the 'Bonker uses for shear pins?

Sunday/Monday, gonna meet up with some of the wife's kin in DBQ to bet on the dogs, the cards, the dice and the time it takes for me to get kicked out of the casino, then kick back and relax. I don't drink anymore, after I pass out that is.

Going to Gunrunr's to pick up my all camo T/C Omega and Bushnell scope. Getting some mineral rock for some of the SEI crew. Plan on listening to the 1st half of the Ball St. whoopin on the way home and watch some of the "next in" young Hawks get some 2nd half playing time. Sun. or Mon. plan on finally getting my stands arranged. Should be a great weekend! Hey Brokenarrow, just put the sail up and save the gas money for suds!
 
I'm not planning on doing much, my wife is going away so I'm hanging out at home with my son. A long weekend of parenting should give me a free pass for fishing later this month.

Maybe I'll take him out for a scouting drive in the evening. Also have to sell beer at a ball tournament on Sunday and have plans to coffee with the neighbour after I haul him a truck load of pine for his outdoor wood furnace. Basically, just a regular weekend for me.

mud volleyball tournament (in a couple hours) then either sunday or monday, shooting the "ironman" 84 shot 3d tournament at stuart. might hang a stand or 2 and start juicing some scrapes
 
The family and I are in Northern Minnesota right now and heading home later today. Cringing at filling up on $3.20 a gallon gas (ouch) I guess the wife will cringe at the Cabelas stop also. Have fun and be safe all!
