Land Clearing

Sheds don't tell the whole story in my experience. Neighbor could have massive food plots/feeders/picked ag who knows. I would bet from Oct 15 to Dec 1 deer are using that timber/thickets, it looks awesome actually. I agree with putting some trails in and placing stands strategically off of that. One of the farms I hunt has massive chunks of timber and loads of CRP, I don't find many sheds but during the rut it is a hunters dream.

Believe it or not but in the timber, especially just inside the edges, I find a fair number of sheds in brush piles and briars almost always at the base of trees. I figure a tree rat found it before I did and started to try and carry it to a den before abandoning the idea and dropping it. Stumbled on this one spring turkey hunting when I got dug in at the base of a tree before daylight and put my boot right on top of a shed.

Everyone that's seen it doesn't believe there's enough fuel there to burn. That and there's not much of a way to control a fire should it take off to the neighbors
Based on pics 100% that would burn.
Stuff was burning green last week. Just need right conditions.
