last night, while i was in my tree stand a doe and two fawns came in to bow range as i started to draw on the doe the fawn started feeding on her. so i didnt have the heart to pull the trigger but i was wondering is'nt this a little strange this late in the season ? would'nt she have them weened by now ?

I saw a couple of does last night with faint spots still, these were just born late. I did not see them suckling and they were eating grass.
 
Looks like someones getting out of the blocks pretty good!

Is it just me or is everyone else looking at a track photo?

Heck shoot the little ones and momma. The milk wipes right off the lips so there won't be any ethical issues when you post the pic.

If I hadn't heard you were planning on opening you're own pet orphanage for mistreated cats and rabbits, I'd think that you're above post was sincere. Really now, tell us how you really feel about that shooting fawns.
