Late Strutters

I saw a gobbler in full strut on July 1 with a hen, and then the very next day I saw a group of 8 jakes and toms feeding together. I was just curious on how late some of you have seen gobblers strutting with hens. Do they strut all year round?? I used to think that the end of May was getting late to hunt them, but I think a person could call in a lone gobbler well into June. Any thoughts or experiences with this??

Several years ago I taped two gobblers moving by my tree stand in October. One was in full strut for at least 5 minutes. I think it may be a way of showing dominance.

Saw several tom's strutting around last November while bowhunting,it looked to me like they were strutting for hen's but they were probably just getting the pecking order worked out.
