Like Sands Through the HourGlass

Incredible.
What's so fun looking back through the years is how we dressed, hair styles, foot wear, gear , vehicles ect.

Looking back, the first pic I posted in this thread, I shot him straight down below me.
Could not find him that evening so went in the morning.
Found him (way back in).

Needed to get back to a job sight ASAP.
Carried him out over my shoulders to my truck for ( 1/4) mile or more.
I was strong as hell back then, but remember my legs were like Jellow when I got to my truck.
I will try and find a recent Pic of what it looks like now where that pic was taken.
Did a bunch of bedding area cuts last winter.

I think these pics were taken within 20 yards of each other, just many years apart.

Shotgun buck from 1983 (picture taken in the BIL's front yard late that night) and my first antlered bow kill in 1991 (PSE Vulcan round wheeler shooting aluminum arrows tipped with Punch cutter expandables).

I'm too old, you do the math......

My dad in 1954 at r deer camp's first cabin.
Built by my grandpa when he was 14.
I was 1 year away from hunting out of that cabin before it was torn down. Dad hunted with a 99, 300 savage.
Zoom in on the bottom picture u will c another 99 against the door post, most common rifle in camp.
