In the Des Moines area, which lockers are taking deer? Which locker makes the best hot sticks & ring bologna?

I take my deer meat to Maxwell locker.I have a 2nd cousin that works there.They do a great job at a resonable price! Try the summer sausage with hot pepper cheese no pork it is very good in my opinion!

If you are willing to drive 2 1/2- 3hours North East the Lime Springs Locker makes excelent hot sticks and sausage.

The DNR website has some of the lockers on it that are taking deer for the HUSH program. Be a place to start

Jorgensen's Indianola Locker and Meat Market takes deer boned out.

Great summer sausage with cheese added (Jalepeno even).

Awesome breakfast sausage.

Do you have to boned out your deer for the Maxwell (Golly's) locker?

Yes, Golly's only takes boneless deer. They do a nice job.

they are up and running I jut took some geese there monday to get smoked they do an awsome job on those
