Now that has all three; funny, disgusting, yet strangely exhilarating.

just remember when you shoot brand x bow (broadhead, scent, etc) that the majority of guys on the tv shows aren't using that product because its what the believe in, its what they are paid to used. all those hunting dvds are nothing more than a comercial for the products they are paid to push. take everything with a grain of salt, and come to your own conclusions

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

Ok, makes really no difference to me, but when I went to the Drury site, I still see Hoyt listed as a sponsor, and not PSE, and then I went to the Hoyt site and saw Mark and Terry listed as Pro Staff Hunters. Is there a chance Irish is shooting a PSE out of his own personal preference? I know Widdell shoots Hoyt, but David Blanton of Team Realtree shoots a Matthews. At least that is the way it was on the video I just watched. And I think Bill Jordan shoots a Matthews as well. I would guess that the individual still gets to have some say. I know the Primos guys shot a few different bows until recently when they all started to shoot the Truth model by Bear.

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

From my sources..... the official announcement will not be till October 1st that they have moved to PSE.

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

One of my sources have been down working on and tuning all of their bows. Their are on contract with Hoyt for the rest of this year. The hunts they are filming this year will be for the 08 video season!

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

Truthfully who cares what they shoot?

I don't shoot a bow just because my favorite hunting show shoots that brand.

I could care less if they shot those little Liberty bows, it doesn't change the shows quality any.

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

Nacho, agreed, but Hoyt to PSE does improve the quality a little!!

I dont do the same either.

I started this thread for conversation purposes.

It is all about the $$$ to these companies anyway.

Just an informational piece for all of you..

I started shooting my PSE target bow before I found out they were moving to a different bow company.

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

Saturday I'm doing some film work for a friend for Wisconsin's bow opener since im not hunting over here this year and They have a crew from Drury hunting their lease this fall and they're up this weekend so I'll get the scoop.

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

I only shoot and use the products I see my hunting heros on tv using. Heck, I'd even jump off a bridge.....if they told me to.

Thats like trading in a Cadillac for a wagon!!! Those poor guys!

[/ QUOTE ]

If by this you mean they traded in for equipment that is worth having while hunting, then you would be Absolutely correct!

I've seen dead deer in wagons, never in caddies!

Re: Looks official to me... Drury Switched to PSE

I would have to agree with justhunt87. I mean I try and stay out of the my brand of bow is better than yours debates because in my opinion there are so many good ones out there, but PSE. Yikes. I have yet to shoot one that didn't twang like a banjo.

It would be more understandable if they switched to Matthews or Bowtech. They and Hoyt are the top three in my opinion.

I shot one last week. I understand it was just a bare bow without a stabilizer or anything, but to say that it "twanged like a banjo" hits the nail on the head! Sorry guys, but you can't compare it any of the top 3 companies.

[/ QUOTE ] Would love to, however I will be in Muscatine for my daughters ASA Softball tournament. Kids come first. Anyway I was jos joshin ya. I could care less what anyone shoots as long as they are shootin, and happy with what they are shooting. When I got my new Vectrix this spring, (which I love by the way, more then the Drenalin, more than the Diamond, PSE, Parker and Bear that I shot of which I can't remember the exact models)I had a friend tell me I made a huge mistake I should have bought the Matthews, it is a way better bow. I asked him how he liked it when he shot it vs the Vectrix. His response, " I haven't shot either of them, but the Mattews has got to be better." He shoots an older bow and was trying to tell me what fits me better, will be the most comfortable in my hand and what not just by the name on printed on the limb. I hate that.
