So I always glass around from my new house because I can see almost all my property. And I look in the alfalfa by my corn field and notice a dead deer that was half ate. I walked over to see what it was, my gut was saying buck just due to size…

Unfortunately it was a buck that had shed and I had lots of history with. This buck had a injury but not lethal…. He had been gored in the neck but he got around just fine. I almost shot him Christmas evening…. Well he needed gone he was a really massive 8 for around home.

My advice is to kill every coyote you see…. They wore him out in a field 200 yards or less from my house…. Never heard a thing….

Yotes will single out a deer in a herd and just run them.Would be fun to sit up by that corn picker with a thermal scope.

Sucks!!!!! Lot of dudes are gonna find coyote kills when they shed hunt & not realize how it happened. Did I ever mention that I hate coyotes?!??! ;)

Coyotes are wracking deer hard here now.
Damn thing is, they kill, eat what they can. Then the remains freeze rock solid.
Why go back and chew on a frozen deer when they can EASILY kill another and get a warm meal.
