Lost my long time buddy today

Shredder...I remember your kind words when I lost mine last yr. I'm terribly sorry for your families loss.

"Dogs are God's proof that he doesn't want us to walk alone."

Sorry to hear about your loss. When you are ready, don't deny another dog out there the benefit of your family's companionship.

Tough times indeed. Made worse by the knowledge you posess.

Rule #1, all dogs pass on.

Rule #2, Vets can't change rule #1.

Perhaps you gained your family more time with Bo and Bo more time with his family. Unfortunately, the outcome was inevitable.

So sorry to hear that news Shredder. My young son had a hard time when our 12 year old terrier died. I noticed him feeling better when I told him that Buster was chasing squirrels with his Grandpa in Heaven and "Poppy" would take good care of Buster. He still brings it up to this day.

I feel your sorrow...I still get a lump in my throat as I type remembering past "hunting partners, watch dogs, protector of monsters under the bed…."
They are never replaced and always remembered...

Shred, I know the feeling all too well. Sorry to hear of your loss. Allow time for the process to run its course.

Nothing easy about losing your best buddy. Trust me, eventually that void will subside...but it takes time. Try to remember all the good times.

Sorry to hear that Ryan, one of the toughest things is loosing a good pup, but keep those good memories you had with him flowing through your mind to help ease the pain.

I'm sorry for your loss. Bonker summed it up all too well. Things will get easier with time though. I'm sure you will cherish the memories of the good times you had with Bo.

Sorry to hear about that. I can definitely relate. I lost my Vizsla on Saturday. My 5 year old took it pretty hard, but luckily they bounce back quickly. I feel for you.
