Well humble pie served up for me this fall. My target buck on my new macon county farm was almost in my lap and my wind a on 11/1 and I decided to stop him before he walked through my wind and was quartering to. When i stopped him at 30 he quartered to me harder… it was a game time decision so I let the arrow fly and evidently did not find its mark enough for a lethal kill. It was a poor decision and I will wear that badge.
Moving on without another deer I wanted to target on the farm I started working this weekend. TSI and some gameplanning for permanent blind solution.
I think this setup may be one of the plot squeezes ive ever encountered. This fall plot will get frost seeded with clover in a couple months and I am confident another shooter will call it home in 2022 https://youtu.be/ElORSQq2_W8 https://youtu.be/NjpcgWpxWgQ
This thread came to a close yesterday at 10 am. Closed on sale of this farm and purchased 70 acres adjacent to my home farm in Randolph County. It was a nice little farm but time to move on.
